Tourniglo Ltd is a UK based innovative start-up company, who will produce the first branded phlebotomy tourniquet with a built-in torch. The concept of the product was initially derived from clinicians’ need of a light source in their working environment. A light source is used to examine patients’ eyes, throats or any other body orifice, or use during a night shift. The product evolved into offering several other functional properties which has made it a very attractive medical device. The inventor, Dr Stratos Sofos is a Plastic surgeon who understands the Industry and he teamed-up with Design Engineer, Alexander Tsigaridas BSc (HONs) who turned their product idea to reality.
