ETSI-BC stewards a $60 million endowment to assist in the growth and diversification of the economy of the Southern Interior of BC. We work with the region’s local governments, economic development practitioners, non-profit business support organizations, post-secondary institutions, industry associations, and accelerators to help add value to our region by:
- Helping build the region’s economic development capacity,
- Assisting our partners as they support local businesses,
- Encouraging entrepreneurship and the creation of meaningful jobs, and
- Providing support to key sectors of our region’s economy to innovate and be more sustainable.
At ETSI-BC, we have a special focus on the smaller communities and First Nations in our territory, which spans from Hope in the west, Clearwater in the north, the Alberta border to the east and the US border to the south.
We encourage collaboration, regional thinking, and sustainability. Our Board and Advisory Committees are comprised of elected officials and provincial government appointees who are all committed to a strong economy, stronger communities.
