About us: The European Fundraising Association with its office in Berlin is a network specifically serving individuals and organizations that are actively involved in European project work or plan to become actively involved. It provides EU fundraisers from the profit and the nonprofit sector with an exchange platform for information and experiences and addresses institutional players from associations as well as the social economy, the public sector and businesses. Through its work, the EU Fundraising Association wants to encourage individuals and organizations to think and work in European terms. One of its main concerns is European integration and strengthening European citizenship. Activities and objectives: • fostering the professional interests of its members • developing a network for EU fundraisers where they can exchange information and share experiences on a national and European level • creating quality standards in the EU-fundraising field • establishing and promoting the profession of EU fundraising and illustrating the qualification profile of EU-fundraisers • shaping European policy in European funding • supporting local groups to strengthen internal networking • providing specialized expert groups for specific topics of EU fundraising • EU project work (for instance Erasmus+) Who can become a supporting member? • EU-fundraiser • private and public organizations • non-profit-organizations • companies • local authorities Services to supporting members: • participation in European projects • reduced participation fee at the symposium on public funding of the European Fundraising Association • co-operations with experts and insiders in specialized expert groups • invitations to participate in regular meetings of regional activities • regular newsletter
