Our Company, established in 2001 in Bayraklı area in İzmir, started its operations with a converting facility designed to produce its own brands as well as private label products. Our initial operations included production of end-user tissue products using third-party semi-finished paper called rolls or Jumbo rolls. Rapid development in both production and sales prompted our Company to invest in expansion. In 2004, an integrated mill covering production of both semi-finished goods and finished products was founded in İzmir. This mill provided both semi-finished goods needed for converting and also helped expand product diversity, and enabled us to produce also for the Away-from-Home market. Excess semi-finished goods could be sold to other companies, particularly in foreign markets. Our Company continued to growin the following years. After increasing the capacity of its İzmir mill to approximately 55,000 tons with a new investment in 2009, we extended the total capacity beyond 90,000 tons with the launch of a new paper mill in Mersin in 2016. With another new paper mill in this OIZ, our total capacity is expected to rise to 133,000 tons. Being among the top 500 companies in Turkey and holding the regional export champion title in its sector, our organization has established some of its paper mills in İzmir and Mersin with deinking processes that are not common in the country. These environmentally friendly processes utilize recycled paper collected from the market to produce tissue, which is mostly exported to foreign markets. Our Company pays utmost attention to sustainability and quality and holds quality certificates such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, FSC CoC, BSCI, TSE, and IFS HPC. Ours is the first and only company in its sector that holds an IFS HPC certificate. Our Company went public and 24% of our shares started to be traded on Istanbul Stock Exchange since September 15, 2021.
