Exercise for Science

Exercise for Science is a multidisciplinary medical research collaboration dedicated to studying the effects of exercise on joint and muscle health. Our initial studies were the first to offer substantive, scientific, evidence-based answers to common questions about the effects of distance running, by applying medical research techniques on a significant scale. Exercise for Science began as a knee study and we have since conducted numerous joint and muscle research studies. The goal is to help people exercise better, improving performance while reducing injury and the associated healthcare burden.
