The Exercise Clinic Ltd

The Exercise Clinic Ltd was established in 2016 to help people with cancer exercise safely and with confidence. As well as providing group and one-to-one exercise training, The Exercise Clinic platform allows people to easily report and monitor their wellbeing and activity, encouraging them to participate in exercise outside of a supervised setting. We work with each person, as well as their oncologist, physiotherapist and/or specialist cancer nurse, to provide an exercise framework with regular review and adaptation based on what each person feeds back. Our recommendations combine the latest in healthcare research and exercise science, the psychology of behaviour change, an understanding of each person and their goals, health and exercise data, and analytics. The Exercise Clinic was founded by Emily Curtis, a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, and Chris Cottrell, a Patient Advocate who regards structured exercise as highly important alongside his cancer treatment.
