Our goal is to enhance the undergraduate experience by promoting for-credit experiential learning opportunities both within and outside of the classroom that build students’ learning, employability, and career exploration. We are dedicated to supporting the engagement of students, faculty, and employers in experiential education in a few key areas, including but not limited to:
• UTM Co-op Internship Program (UTMCIP): paid co-op work terms
• Academic Internships: primarily unpaid work placements
• Research Opportunity Program (ROP): faculty-led research-intensive courses
• Community Engaged Learning (CEL): projects focused on community-driven priorities
