German Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka

“Designing Future Society for Our Lives” – this is the motto that will bring together nations from around the world in Osaka, Kansai, Japan from 13 April to 13 October 2025. The Federal Republic of Germany will again be happy to participate in the world exposition in 2025. The German presentation has been commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. Koelnmesse GmbH will be organising and running the German Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka on behalf of the Federal Ministry . The “German Pavilion Consortium Expo 2025 Osaka” comprising the two companies facts and fiction (Cologne) and GL events (Lyon and Japan) is in charge of concept design, planning and realisation. facts and fiction is responsible for content, exhibition and media design, and the pavilion is being built by GL events. Laumann / Scheßl / Weismüller are responsible for the construction supervision of the project. The architecture and spatial design come from LAVA – Laboratory for Visionary Architecture (Berlin). The cultural programme known as Culture Connect is being put together by Frankfurt-based agency VOSS+FISCHER, working together with culture and media manager Mike P. Heisel. The pavilion's restaurant and shop are run by 78degrees.
