Eye Physics, LLC develops 3D treatment simulation software and delivery devices used in brachytherapy treatment of ocular tumors. Our technology delivers conformal radiation treatment to tumors within the eye using individually collimated miniature radiation sources. Our treatment delivery devices, referred to as "eye plaques", are 2 mm thick semispherical gold shells which mount and collimate the radiation sources. These plaques are surgically positioned on the outside of the eye adjacent to the tumor using suture coordinate guidance calculated from 3D image based modeling of each patient's eye. Our plaques are prototyped using 3D printing technology.
