The urine test is a cornerstone of modern medical testing, involving both a chemical test and a urine culture test. However, many patients are unable to urinate on demand, including young children (generally up to around 1.5 years), hospitalized patients, people with disabilities, and seniors.
Existing solutions to this issue include a disposable bag (leaky, inconvenient, and not always sterile) and catheterization (painful, requires a doctor, may lead to complications). These solutions are far from ideal, especially in the case of female patients.
IMedEx has developed a new-generation urine collector designed especially for female infants, incontinent adults, and other patients experiencing trouble with urination.
This absorbent solution removes the need for invasive options like painful catheterization and other inconvenient, non-sterile, and potentially traumatic procedures, enhancing the quality of test results while also significantly improving the patient experience. Additionally, the solution is simple and user friendly, without requiring a doctor or other trained professional.
