About F3Defense
Michael Mercer I am the CEO and Founder of F3Defense. I am a retired police officer and a Navy vet. I invented the worlds only patented Mobile Pepper Spray Deployment System. I developed this life saving system in response to what was happening around the country, especially during the summer of 2020. Even right here in Portland, Maine one of my buddies, a Lieutenant with the Portland Police Department, was on patrol during a BLM protest and was surrounded while in his patrol car with no way to escape. He had to sit there until backup arrived. I knew there was a way to avoid this in the future. I created the Chemical Agent Specialist Program for the Mesa, Az Police way back in the mid 1990s. I have a lot of experience in less than lethal force options. The unit allows the officer to deploy the OC from the safety of his vehicle. Not having to resort to lethal force. Why law enforcement agencies need F3Defense Mobile Pepper Spray Deployment System Officer Safety Protection from attacks outside the vehicle. Officers will now be able to escape safely by deploying OC 360 degrees around the emergency vehicle. Deploying OC gives the officer time and distance between him and his attackers. Public Safety Officers can safely deploy OC from inside the emergency vehicle to disperse rioting crowds. Less than lethal alternative. Protection from property damage to private and public property Damage from civil unrest to patrol cars continues to get worse. Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED). The data also show that nearly 6 percent — or more than 1 in 20 — of U.S. protests between May 26 and Sept. 5 involved rioting, looting, and similar violence, including 47 fatalities. It is pervasive in the summer 2020 protests. Of the 12,045 incidents recorded by ACLED, 1,143 — or nearly 1 in 10 — involved violence of some sort: rioting, looting, clashes with police, cars rammed into crowds, bystanders pepper-sprayed, armed attacks. Reduction wrongful death litigation OC is less than lethal, and will not cause death or injury. WHY CHOOSE F3 DEFENSE? • Offers a less than lethal alternative •Another option in the use of force continuum •When partnered with pepper spray, provides an opportunity to put time and distance between the victim(s) and the attacker(s) • Encourages threat de-escalation Www.F3Defense.com
