Changing peoples perspective over the course of a 1-week training class happens on a weekly basis for FAS, Inc. Our Failure Analysis classes teach students the important skills they need in their every day jobs. Recognizing and preventing multiple types of wear such as abrasive wear, corrosion, fretting wear, etc. as well as being able to discern different types of fractures in metals while identifying the loads that created them...all of this relates to components wearing out or failing unexpectedly.
