A Fazenda Girassol é um projeto que nasce com o objetivo de fornecer produtos hortícolas frescos e de alta qualidade ao mercado Angolano. A empresa foi fundada em 2002 e tem-se destacado no mercado nacional, não só pelo pioneirismo na produção de ervas aromáticas em angola, tal como de alface e couve, mas também por ter um forte compromisso em oferecer produtos frescos e de qualidade ao consumidor final. Estes padrões de qualidade são conseguidos desde a produção até ao final da cadeia.
Segue uma política de produção agrícola assente em padrões europeus, respeitando o uso de químicos, assim como outras regras de higiene e segurança alimentar. Apostamos bastante na diversificação de produtos e desde 2020 iniciamos a produção de frutas tropicais. A banana e a pitaya receberam em 2024 a renovação do selo de certificação GlobalGAP.

Founded in 2002, the company has stood out in the national market not only for its pioneering efforts in producing aromatic herbs in Angola, as well as lettuce and cabbage, but also for its strong commitment to delivering fresh and high-quality products to the final consumer. These quality standards are maintained throughout the entire production chain.
The company follows an agricultural production policy based on European standards, ensuring responsible use of chemicals and adherence to other hygiene and food safety regulations. We place significant emphasis on product diversification, and since 2020, we have started producing tropical fruits. Both bananas and dragon fruit (pitaya) received a renewed GlobalGAP certification in 2024.
