The FGCU Society for Human Resource Management (FGCU-SHRM) is well suited for any student who wants to succeed as an employee, desires to be a future business manager, or seeks a career in the field of Human Resource Management. This student organization provides networking opportunities with industry professionals and will allow students to develop the business skills and knowledge specifically needed in the HR profession.
FGCU-SHRM has been recognized as a Superior Merit Award winning chapter and is one of over 400 student chapters located in the United States and Puerto Rico who are affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), which represents the interests of over 300,000 members throughout the world. Our student chapter is sponsored by the local professional chapter – SHRM Southwest Florida. This is a cross-disciplinary student organization and all majors are welcome to join.
