Fiber Pipe

Fiber Pipe is a deeptech company developing photonic sensing systems for structural health and industrial infrastructure monitoring. Our key innovation is a compact fiber Bragg grating (FBG) interrogator based on a photonic integrated circuit (PIC), providing high-speed, high-accuracy measurements enhanced by machine learning. We focus on real-time monitoring of pipelines in unstable soils, such as permafrost and shifting sands, where traditional methods are costly and insufficient. The system is lab-developed, tested on pipeline stands, and designed for full automation, harsh environments, and sub-centimeter movement detection. Our approach combines academic research with applied engineering, supported by grant funding and collaboration with leading research labs.
