This is the mission FIBERLY Solaroptics aims to achieve through the development of the world's first Solar Fiber Optics Collector that uses nanostructured optical materials in it's design.
A Solar Fiber Optics Collector is an optical panel which focuses sunlight into fiber optic cables. These then route light itself into indoor spaces for direct use as illumination. This collector is installed similarly to a photovoltaic panel, be it the in the roof of your home, or of your business's infrastructure, significantly reducing your monthly illumination expenses.
Our design disrupts conventional solutions with a breakthrough innovation of using cost-efficient fresnel microlenses fabricated through roll-to-roll lithography technology. This way, the amount of resources consumed during production is greatly reduced, minimizing material consumption and fabrication cost. Our objective is to expand the available options for renewable energy solutions, by providing an affordable, sustainable and healthy product for everyone!
