Firemac Gulf DMCC specialises in Passive Fire Protection (PFP) systems, a key part of the structural integrity and fire safety in a building. Firemac Gulf DMCC has extensive experience advising a range of clients on solution selection through to designing and installing ductwork protection systems, fire walls and ceilings, and fire resistant services enclosures. The company's 2 main project ranges are Firemac FM Fire Ducts and Firemac FM Blue, an impact resisting, steel faced board non combustible board that can be used to form fire resisting walls, ceilings, ducts and enclosures. Firemac FM Fire Ducts use a carefully selected fire protection glass fibre fabric which is bonded and mechanically fixed to the outer face of galvanised or stainless steel ductwork to achieve the required fire performance. The ductwork is formed in the normal manner, usually to the requirements of DW144 or SMACNA and the Firemac FM Fabric is applied by the ductworker at the point of fabrication. No curing time is required and the fabric adds virtually no weight to the duct. Firemac has a number of ductwork partners in the GCC including the UAE and Qatar, as well as across Africa, SE Asia, India and Central America, all trained by Firemac Gulf DMCC in the fabrication and installation of our systems. Firemac FM Fire Ducts are suitable for ventilation, smoke extract, kitchen extract and pressurisation ductwork systems, offering fire resistance for up to 240 minutes when tested to BS476: Part 24: 1987 (ISO6944: 1985). Firemac FM Blue fire protection board comprising a central cementitious core that is faced on both sides with specially designed, mechanically bonded, galvanised or stainless steel. Exceptionally robust and fire resistant, Firemac FM Blue fire barriers, ductwork & service enclosures provide a convenient and effective means of containing fire under the most onerous of conditions, and up to 240 minutes.
