Launched in 1979 and reorganized in 1993, First EIE SA is marked by its resolve to systematically integrate the most advanced technologies in the range of Photoplotters, Ink Jet Printers and Direct Imager that it produce. Photoplotter equipments are used in the PCB industry to produce Master Artworks to image the circuitree patterns for every step of inner and outer PCB layers production. A sustained development strategy has allowed First EIE to introduce to the PCB and HDI marketplaces seven successive generations of Photoplotters. First EIE SA has focused its efforts on the design of External Drum Multi-beam Photoplotters. The latest generation allows down to 5 microns features at 50000 dpi with the new 512 beam Optical Head. In 2003 First EIE launched a product line of Ink Jet Printers dedicated to Legend Digital Printing for the PCB marking. The latest development is the Direct Imager EDI500 launched in Munich at Productronica 2013. First EIE SA built its position with the help of a network of 20 Exclusive Agents and Distributors.
