First Gen Legacy

First Gen Legacy was created in 2020 by Paula Amezola and William Herrera. We felt fortunate to have stepped into our genius by getting an education, buying our first home at 26 and learning about investing as soon as we landed our first job and we are eager to share our experiences with others. First Gen Legacy offers workshops covering the following topical areas: Professional Development, Financial Literacy and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Social Justice series. We have partnered with several TRIO programs to offer semester-long series of workshops, ranging from Cultivating Your Genius (StrengthFinder Assessment), to How to Write a Resume, to Advice I Knew Before Going to College, to 1st Year University Budget.
