First Tee – Cleveland

First Tee – Cleveland is located in Washington Park at 3883 Washington Park Boulevard in Newburgh Heights, OH 44105 and the 9-hole Leonard Krieger golf course occupies approximately 40 acres of the 60 acre parcel. The frontage of the property is in Newburgh Heights but most of the golf course is in the city of Cleveland, OH just southwest of and an eight minute drive from downtown Cleveland. First Tee - Cleveland conveyed the property to Cleveland Metroparks after its completion in early 2005 and the course opened in May, 2006. The complex to date consists of the course with a 20 station full length driving range, 10,000 square foot practice putting green and a large bunker and chipping practice area, and a 3,000 square foot maintenance building. In July of 2007 construction of the 4,000 square foot Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Life Skills Education Center began, with our Open House celebration in January 2008. The project was completed with the addition of a teaching pavilion that includes a covered driving range. In addition, the acreage has a picnic pavilion and an athletic field. Our Mission: To positively impact the lives of young people from greater Cleveland by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
