We are a team of motivated professionals and scientists focused on assessing and improving the welfare of fish. In our approach, we apply a strong background in aquaculture and ethology, developing science-based solutions and applied actions to assess and improve the welfare of captive and wild-caught fishes. Our actions involve promoting research, helping to disseminate knowledge, giving consultancy, and training about fish welfare.
Our group stems from a collaboration with the Swiss-based NGO fair-fish international and the Center of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) in Faro (Portugal), which is the institutional host of our researches.
