Flexel have been manufacturing innovative heating systems to the world market since 1978. Our range includes underfloor heating, frost protection cables, mirror demister pads and far infrared heating panels.
In 2003 we merged with the Fenix Group and today are one of 13 companies under their banner with production facilities in the UK, France, Spain and the Czech Republic. The Group is one of the largest and most influential organisations involved in the manufacture of large surface area radiant heating.
All Flexel electrical heating elements and cable systems are approved to relevant international standards – EN 60335-2-96 for ECOFILM element and IEC 60800 for ECOFLOOR cable mats and all loose cable products. In the UK our products are available via our distributors network including builders/ plumbers merchants and electrical wholesalers.
We pride ourselves in the high level of technical support and customer service we provide and are recognised as an authoritative brand leader in the field of electric radiant heating for domestic and commercial applications.
Electricity is the future for heating. Dwindling supplies of North Sea gas, the uncertainty of imported gas supplies, the volatility of oil prices and the commitment to reduce the UK’s carbon footprint all point towards electricity as the fuel of the future. The country is moving towards a low carbon future, with electricity to be generated by nuclear power and sustainable sources. Infrared heating is 100% efficient and carbon neutral at the point of use.
Electric heating systems are compatible with microgeneration technologies. As more low carbon and renewable sources become available, we will increasingly see electric heating favoured over gas.
