During furlough from Flexel due to Covid I refused to sit around all day so I started working at M&S as a Christmas helper on a short contract. In January I was kept on working weekends at Kingsgate store until I returned back full time with Flexel in September 2021.Kingsgate is the top grossing UK Marks and Spencers food store and is probably the best company in the food retail industry to learn from in the UK today given the very high standards of training and customer focus required.My main duties included:Preparing displaysUnloading deliveriesStacking shelvesShelf standardsTill operationHoneywell operationRestock takingDoorman / trolley and basket sterilisation (Covid) / queue control.Learning products and current offersAdvising customersMoney counting and handling
