Flexicare is the health benefits administrator subsidiary of RelianceUnited and Unilab. The company was founded in 1999 as the in-house service provider for the Unilab Group of Companies tasked to manage their health benefits.
Seeing the opportunity to expand the business, the Flexicare brand was established in 2016 to cater to companies outside the Unilab Group. Since then the company grew to over 40,000 members with more than 1,000 partner medical facilities and a roster of 15,000 accredited physicians.
In 2022, Flexicare (registered under Health Delivery System. Inc.) was accredited by the Insurance Commission as a licensed Health Maintenance Organization (HMO).
