Flourish Placemaking Collective

Flourish Placemaking Collective (FPC) is a community-centered development and consulting group committed to supporting the transformation of space to deepen community well-being, access, and equity for everyone within the community. The core aim of this work seeks to foster Centers of Belonging from existing, essential, and underutilized properties. FPC is the outgrowth of Ace in the City which provided a variety of youth and family programming, including after school literacy support and food security initiatives, between 2008 – 2022. As FPC emerges into the community development and consulting space, it intends to direct its near-term efforts toward helping collaborators reimagine, redesign, and retool existing structures in the community, with a focus on those that have or still support organized church institutions.
