Flutter Shutter Ltd™ is an award winning female family run energy efficiency company ran by 3 sisters, Rechelle Davis, Nadine Griffin and Rhianne Griffin.
We have been operating for over 13 years in the city of Liverpool.
Our product Flutter Shutter™ is a fully UK patented secondary glazing energy efficient measure parallel to triple glazing. Also recognised by BRE and awarded a SAP rating and U-Value to increase the rating of an EPC. The aesthetics of plantation shutters with the performance of triple glazing!
Fully tested by Liverpool John Moores University, BRE & Salford University Energy House Labs.
We are looking for housing associations, landlords, construction and RSL’s to work closely with on installing our product - Flutter Shutter™ into their housing stock to increase their EPC rating and meet Government set energy targets such as Net Zero.
We are PAS2030:2023 & TrustMark B3 accredited.
In April 2014 we won The Liverpool Echo New Environmental Enterprise of the year award.
In June 2015 we won 2nd place at the National Green Deal & ECO awards in the Green Deal Advisory Organisation of the year category.
Rechelle Davis has also been recognised for her hard work and dedication within the ECO, Green Deal & RHI initiatives and she subsequently won the Green Deal Assessor of the year award for the North West Region 2014.
Originally a GDAO (Green Deal Assessor Organisation), we had contracts with councils up and down the country. It was from working closely at this level that we decided to come up with an idea that could help councils/HA’s/RSL’s save energy and heat for their tenants/customers, whilst also creating an aesthetically pleasing, low carbon measure that would be attractive in any home, thus helping contribute to the regeneration of our poorer communities.
