Flytanking AS

Flytanking AS was originally formed on 13th of August 1997 as a Joint Venture owned by Shell Aviation and Statoil Aviation at Trondheim Airport, Værnes (TRD). On the 1st of January 2014, Flytanking AS was expanded with further 4 airports and is, as of today, a Joint Venture owned by Aviation Fueling Services Norway (AFSN) and Air bp Norway. The board of Flytanking is located in Norway and have a representative from each of the owner companies, where one of the owner representatives is chairman of the board. Flytanking has a General Manager located in Oslo, an HSSE & Compliance Manager located in Bodø and an Operations Manager located at each airport. Flytanking is responsible for all personnel involved in refuelling at airports and facilities with their local operations managers. Flytanking receives, stores and delivers aviation fuel on behalf of its owners, to their respective customers at 5 locations in Norway. We serve both Norwegian and international customers, ranging from big international airline companies to smaller local companies and private owners.
