Foe & Dear is a collection of one of a kind pieces that are assembled to order by hand and heart. Experimentation with unique and exotic materials, ranging from sterling silver to 14 karat gold to precious and rough stones, makes Foe & Dear a blend of mystery and romance, reminiscent of stories both whimsical and dark. Each Foe & Dear piece is designed and handcrafted in Vancouver, BC. Utilizing materials and incorporating influences from the world over, Foe & Dear offers collections of jewelry that honour humanity’s roots—from the sparkliest, most sublime peaks, to the darkest, roughest depths. This contrast illuminates a tension that envelopes us: one of romance and mystery. Designer Katherine Huie founded Foe & Dear in a tiny apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, during the thick of summer in 2009. Now, designed and handcrafted amid Vancouver, BC’s shimmering skyline and sea, Foe & Dear is a fixture in the fashion industry and is proudly stocked all over the world by first class vendors. Katherine believes that jewelry should delight and endure, and each piece of Foe & Dear jewelry is intended to do just that for decades to come.
