Our highly dedicated team of qualified forensic consultants and support staff have specialised, over the past 45 years and more, in the forensic investigation of insured losses, dominantly fire related matters. FSA are instructed by Insurance companies, lawyers and individuals to provide court credible scientific reports. All FSA consultants are tertiary qualified, each holding at least a Bachelor of Science degree.
FSA have developed a very strong reputation for the quality, clarity and the reliability of our expert evidence in court and during mediation or arbitration. This reputation is based on the integrity of our unbiased investigations and access to the varied knowledge and expertise that has developed from the 100 years of collective experience centred on the varied academic backgrounds of our consultants, including, metallurgy and materials science, organic and inorganic chemistry, applied mechanics, thermodynamics, physics and forensic science.
FSA consultants have promoted excellence in the industry by providing guest speakers at conferences and seminars on fire investigation and as technical advisers to practical programs in Queensland, NSW and South Australia. We have been called upon to provide course input to Police Services of Queensland, South Australia, Indonesia and Singapore as well as by the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services for the accreditation of their course content and the provision of fire science input.
We liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, insurers, lawyers, and individuals to gather all available evidence to provide court credible, reliable, scientific reports.
We collect and analyse evidence in our on-premises laboratory and store evidence in our secure storage facility.
