Dr Amy Heffernan has a PhD in Environmental Chemistry from University of Queensland and 15+ years' experience in the food & beverage and environmental sectors. She is an expert is trace-level contaminant analysis, including PFAS, pesticide residues, microplastics, and other emerging contaminants. She is an experienced analytical chemist, with specific expertise in hyphenated mass spectrometry techniques, including non-target analysis.
