Leuser Conservation Forum is an Aceh-based organisation that serves to protect the Leuser Ecosystem in Aceh province through field protection. The Leuser Ecosystem is one of the most crucial landscapes to protect. Not only it is the last place on earth where orangutan, tigers, rhinos, and elephants live together in the wild, it is also the heart for more than 4 million lives in Aceh and North Sumatra provinces of Indonesia as it provides sources of water and air.
FKL's scope of work includes ranger patrols, restoration, research, and education.
