FOSLTC was founded in 1899 as a private member’s club, formally known back then as Frinton Lawn Tennis, Croquet and Bowls Club.
Over the years the club has welcomed many guests including Heather Watson. The club has hosted tournaments over the past 70 years which has seen many top tennis players including past and possibly future Wimbledon champions.
We have 16 grass courts, 8 all-weather courts, fully equipped gym, 2 squash/racquetball courts, swimming pool and a croquet lawn. The clubhouse also has a bar, lounge and vaulted bean ballroom with a sprung wooden dancefloor which is able to hold events and functions for up to 150 guests.
Our thatched roof was recently restored in 2023 to ensure the future of the clubhouse which is over 120 years old!
