Foundation for Rural Development

Foundation for Rural Development is a Non Profit organization working in Pakistan since 2008 as a registered Non profit organization. FRD had been working with Nexus Approach i.e. Humanitarian, development and peace Nexus since 2010. In the Humanitarian sector, FRD has implemented more than 75 projects out of which 25 are on Shelter and Housing with an approximate beneficiaries of more than 80,000 individuals in different settings of natural disasters and man made disasters. Out of the Humanitarian projects there are 20 on Livelihoods and Food security in different regions with approximately 90,000 beneficiaries. The projects of FRD that focused on WASH in Humanitarian settings are more than 11, with an approximate beneficiaries number of 180,000 individuals. Similiarly the humanitarina experience of FRD had been in the #CCCM, #Protection #Reproductive health, #BEmOC, #Education as well. In the Development Projects FRD had been among the very few NGOs in Pakistan, having the richest presence in the erstwhile FATA now the newly merged districts of KP, in addition to our work in KP and Punjab.
