Fostering Resilience Empowerment Success and Hope (FRESH), LLC was formed in 2021 to confront and combat the growing mental health crisis in communities of color using culturally sensitive practices. Stigma associated with mental health treatment in these communities prevent individuals from seeking help, but this does not need to be the case. Clinicians that provide treatment at FRESH are persons of color with a wide range of experience in mental health treatment. We use a client-centered approach to treatment that considers the impact of intersectionality when developing a course of treatment.
