Family Support Organization of Essex County (FSOEC) is a non-profit organization focused on the peer support, education, advocacy and for parents of children with behavioral, developmental, emotional, intellectual, mental health, and substance-use challenges.
Our goal is to empower caregivers by building on their strengths and providing the necessary support. FSOEC works with other agencies to help families gain access to community resources and help create safe, healthy homes.
We hire parents of children with these challenges who are uniquely able to provide one-to-one peer support to parents in similar situations. We also offer monthly workshops and weekly support groups to aid families.
