Future Ready is a mentorship initiative under Collaborate Sports, dedicated to supporting early-career professionals with FREE or heavily subsidised support. Supporting those who have studied Strength & Conditioning, Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Sports Coaching, and Nutrition, we help them transition from university to employment. Recognising the challenges graduates face in securing roles within the competitive sports industry, we provide structured employability services and support to help people with: Crafting compelling CVs and cover letters Optimising job applications Mastering interview techniques Enhancing communication skills Understanding personality profiling Navigating conflict resolution Developing teamwork and leadership abilities Gaining insights into salary expectations Exploring self-employment versus traditional employment Learning about company formation Building financial literacy Our annual networking events feature key speakers from professional sports, offering attendees valuable insights into the industry and expanding their professional connections. Through partnerships with sports organisations and key donors, we aim to subsidise or fully fund graduate roles, many currently unpaid, to create fair and sustainable career pathways for emerging professionals.
