GameTime was created in 2010 by Roberto Buffa, IT Journalist and digital media specialist. It started as a TV show, the first about videogames and gaming technologies being broadcasted by a nation wide free-to-air tv network in Italy (Odeon24). In the coming years it was aired both on DTT (VERO) and on sat in HD with AXN and AXN Sci-Fi.
At the same time the "Gametimers" community was founded on Facebook. And it grew up to a fanbase of over half million subscribers.
Today Gametime is the biggest social media community in Italy dedicated to videogames and entertainment technologies . Gametime is on Facebook (535K+ subscribers to the fanpage, 20K+ subscribers to the group), Instagram (30K+ subscribers), Twitter (5K+ subscribers), YouTube and Twitch.
