Our experience and passion for bicycles support or create a solid base for the assessment of bicycle claims. Our extensive archive of bicycle manufacturers and sales structures that puts us in a position to describe nearly any bicycle model of the past 30 years including equipment and price, provides a sound basis for objective loss assessment or for expert reports that can also be used as evidence in legal proceedings, as experience has shown. Company founder graduate engineer Dirk Zedler is an officially appointed and sworn expert for bicycles and electric bicycles (CCI Stuttgart) and has been working purely as a bicycle expert for over twenty years. We are commissioned with drawing up bicycle expert reports by insurers, lawyers as well as bicycle manufacturers/distributors and private individuals placing their trust in us by ordering more than 850 bicycle expert reports per year. We also offer training courses held by the bicycle experts of GDFS. The training is aimed at experts-to-be and motor vehicle experts who intend to expand their portfolio by including bicycles and e-bikes, as well as employees of insurers dealing with claims. The test engineers of Zedler-Institut provide training courses on the topics of CE marking, product quality and durability, reasonable tests acc. to bicycle category and offer guidance on how to avoid liability in the jungle of standards and laws. In our innovative and climate-positive, energy-efficient building with platinum certification by DGNB, the German Sustainable Building Council, we offer seminar and event spaces equipped with state-of-the-art technology for rent. There are about 600 square metres for up to 120 persons in a pleasant and unique atmosphere among more than 100 historic bicycles. Barrier-free, of course. On the covered terrace, while walking among bicycles originating from the past 200 years and beyond, participants relax during breaks and enjoy local food or refined delicacies from the excellent caterer.
