Zedler-Institut is dedicated to testing bicycles and components in the company-own test laboratory. They also develop and build testing systems and equip the test laboratories of bicycle manufacturers. In addition, Zedler-Institut designs, prepares and prints user manuals in accordance with the applicable EN and ISO standards as well as operating instructions for e-bikes and all types of bicycles and components. For this reason we have been developing, building and selling test stands and testing systems since 1994. As a leading provider of testing services, we not only test for renowned bicycle manufacturers worldwide in our own test laboratories, but also equip the test laboratories of trendsetting special interest magazines, such as TOUR, BIKE and EMTB. Technical Documentation: Technical documentation is far more than just user manuals The days when the hardware bicycle represented the exclusive product have been over for the bicycle and the e-bike industry for some time. Bicycles, but even more so e-bikes, e-MTBs, e-gravel bikes, e-road bikes and e-cargo bikes, require a comprehensive package of accompanying “paperwork”. This includes: - risk assessments - test certificates (electrical and mechanical as well as in terms of pollutants) - operating instructions - CE labels and type plates - declarations of conformity We have many years of experience in all fields. We have learned a lot, in particular, when market surveillance authorities in countries like France, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland and of course Germany imposed sales bans on manufacturers.
