Yayasan Gemilang Sehat Indonesia

English: Yayasan Gemilang Sehat Indonesia (YGSI), formerly known as Rutgers Indonesia, is a non-profit organization dedicated to two major issues: Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence. Established as a result of the separation from Rutgers International in the Netherlands, YGSI officially commenced its operations on 15 January 2024. This move allows both our organizations to independently shape our future trajectories, paving the way for a partnership that can achieve greater outcomes than the combined strengths of the two entities, all while preserving and building upon the legacy of collaboration that has defined our joint past. Over the past 15 years, Rutgers Indonesia has been privileged to collaborate with Rutgers Netherlands in advancing work on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, and today, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for the enduring partnership that has left a lasting impact. Moving forward, we are excited to embark on a new chapter in our journey as Yayasan Gemilang Sehat Indonesia with a determination to continue the work we have been dedicated to for the past 25 years. We reaffirm our commitment to continue to advocate for sexual and reproductive health rights, as well as to prevent sexual and gender-based violence, with a specific focus on young people, including minorities and people with disabilities.
