Generation Squeeze

Generation Squeeze is a force for generational fairness. We’re a small but mighty powerhouse in the world of politics, powered by the voices of younger Canadians and those who love them. Generational fairness means asking all Canadians to: • Be good stewards: preserve what’s sacred today for younger and future generations • Foster generational reciprocity: do unto other generations as you would have them do unto you • Plan for all ages: ask governments to invest in wellbeing from the early years onwards We build public and political support around key policy issues affecting generational fairness, driving real change on issues like the cost of child care, carbon pricing, housing affordability, and age accounting in government budgets. The problems and solutions we present are backed by cutting-edge research from the Gen Squeeze Knowledge Mobilization Lab at the University of British Columbia.
