HELPING PUBLIC HEALTH USE BEST EVIDENCE IN PRACTICE
Our vision is for Canada's public health system to be one in which organizations and individuals incorporate the best available evidence into decision making to promote optimal health among populations.
We help the public health workforce and policy makers search for, interpret, and apply research evidence to their local context. We launched the Health Evidence™ registry of reviews in March 2005, and in 2007 expanded to include training and consultation services. We disseminate high-quality review-level evidence via Twitter (@HealthEvidence) and webinars (recordings posted to our YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/user/healthevidence).
Our target audience is public health decision makers and professionals across Canada who support evidence-informed decision making in public health.
