GENESIS EU

GENESIS is the European Union’s flagship R&D project driving sustainability in semiconductor manufacturing. Co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme, the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and national funding, GENESIS brings together leading research institutes, universities, and industry actors to address urgent environmental and materials challenges across the semiconductor value chain. GENESIS runs from 2025–2028 and is structured into six interdisciplinary Work Packages, led by CEA, CSEM, IMEC, Fraunhofer, UNITOV, and SEMI Europe.| 🌍 Our mission is to enable a clean, safe, and resilient future for semiconductor innovation in Europe and beyond.
