Genome Analysis spin-off specializes in the field of genetics, led by Professor George Dedoussis, an esteemed expert in Molecular Genetics and Nutrigenetics. Through a collaborative effort with Harokopio University, our research team has developed a cutting-edge algorithm that generates Polygenic Risk Scores (PRS) with high predictive ability. These PRS evaluate thousands of genetic variants (390,000 to 2,000,000 depending on the disease being tested), surpassing the limited set of variants commonly examined by most genetic analyses in the market. Moreover, our PRS stand out as the only genetic analyses tailored to the specific genetic characteristics of the Greek population, thereby enhancing precision and reliability in their outcomes. Our vision is to advance personalized preventive medicine for chronic diseases such as obesity and cardiovascular disease, by establishing partnerships with healthcare professionals. We offer them genetic tests and educational seminars to equip them with the knowledge and tools required to integrate personalized prevention and treatment approaches into their services.
