Our Story Genz‑Ryan began on January 1, 1950, in Rosemount, MN, founded by Jack Ryan (John “Jack” Ryan), his mother Rose Ryan, Louis Genz, and his wife Greta. What started as a small family operation has stood the test of time and over 75 years later, Genz-Ryan is still dedicated to bringing comfort, safety, and quality to thousands of homes across Minnesota . In 1997, Jack’s sons—Dan, Mike, Bob, and Jon—assumed leadership of the company. That legacy evolved further when Jon Ryan became sole owner and president in May 2017, ushering in a new era of growth and innovation.
