GeoScience Limited is an independent earth science consultancy, providing engineering, geomechanics and reservoir geology solutions to the oil, gas and geothermal industries. We have been providing technical solutions, reducing risk and saving money for our clients since 1985.
From our offices in the UK and Australia we service companies in over 50 countries, from small independents to multi-nationals. We aim to provide the highest quality services and build long term professional relationships, often working within client teams.
The company has its roots in the UK’s Hot Dry Rock geothermal research project, undertaken in Cornwall in the 1980s, and was initially owned by a US-based geothermal developer. In 1992 the company was bought by the late Dr Tony Batchelor.
We maintain our interest in geothermal energy and continue to provide services to the whole spectrum of geothermal including conventional and Engineered Geothermal System (EGS) developments, mine water geothermal, open and closed loop direct geothermal and Ground Source Heating and Cooling systems.
