GEOSYN

GEOSYN is an EU funded project which aims to validate an innovative geothermal heat pump combined with a heat-powered refrigeration cycle, both of which will use water as the working fluid. This innovative system optimises geothermal energy for industrial applications, offering flexibility to connect to underground thermal energy storage for faster start-up times. Designed to be adaptable and scalable, it meets various industrial needs, enhancing geothermal energy access and efficiency, and reducing environmental impact and costs.
