Getaway Growth is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Our mission is to remove barriers and facilitate access to international travel for our underserved youth in the US. By planning and providing fully funded trips, with a combined multidisciplinary and immersive global experience, we offer students an opportunity of their lifetime. In returning home, we hope to open paths for life and work with a mindset of possibility.
Our trips are designed for underserved youth to have a life-changing month in another country, where they can make friends with each other and members of the local community in the host country, learn valuable skills they can use in the future, experience and participate in a culture totally different from their own, and have the opportunity to return or visit other countries in future cohorts, with progressive responsibility as mentors. Most importantly, our trips will help underserved youth experience a new world of possibilities to empower them to self-actuate. We believe every young adult deserves a world of possibilities and relationships that transcend borders.
