I was a hair stylist for 23 years with Peter Mark when I moved into medical wigs for Alopecia, generalised thinning hair and Chemotherapy hairloss roughly 8 years ago now.
I've done numerous courses on medical wigs and their manufacturing process, The Psychology of hairloss, Scalp concerns, Oncology Aesthetics, Wig repairs/ alterations and custom made prosthesis.
I am currently the only person in Ireland who offers a repair service for wigs and toppers and its by far my favourite thing to do. transforming an old tired hairpiec back to life again is so much fun I can tell you.
I've set up client workshops to teach all wig and hairpiece wearers the ins and outs of wig life. I also educate people who want to go into medical wigs everything they need to know.
As a Former wig wearer from hormonal hairloss, i learnt 1st hand the actual feelings that come with the unknown so i educated myself as much as possible on it to help women like me.
Im now a firm believer that knowledge is power!
