Chartered September 23, 1986 with just 56 students and associate charter members, the Alpha Alpha Chapter is the "first of the first" to have established a Gamma Iota Sigma chapter at a small, private liberal arts college. Today, our chapter is host to more than 120 members who are committed to professional development and enhancing their education of the insurance and risk management, actuarial science and financial planning industries through involvement with Gamma Iota Sigma, the international fraternity. The Alpha Alpha Chapter has also successfully cultivated a vast network of high-achieving alumni who continue to support and raise the standard for excellence in the industry.
